May 27 - 31

 Students are currently spending time learning about perimeter and area, we spend out field study Friday measuring the soccer field using meter sticks and trundles to determine whether our soccer field is FIFA friendly or not. 

We also learned to appreciate the work of Bob Ross, painter and television personality. I asked the students to sketch anything while watching him and then write a reflection on it to engage if it helped them in a holistic manner.

We are continuing to submit our literacy station materials and will be ready for our final assessments for the month of June.

Next week will be busy with the family dance and Hawaiian luau day on Thursday, and clubs throughout the week.
