What's up, Sup?
Tomorrow is PJ day and HOT CHOCOLATE DAY - Emily
If you can bring a travel mug, or reusable cup, that's awesome - Mustafa
Note from Mrs. B: if you have a travel style mug that your kiddo can use for tomorrow, great, if not, no worries! We have cups 😎
Tomorrow is the first day of December - Clark
Today in Art, we were trying to do zentangle practice. We drew weird shape lines and different patterns. We watched a tutorial video. - Mustafa
In Science, we finished our Food Chains and most of us are working on our good copy - Adrian
This made my whole teacher heart full: students helping each other with their wetlands and offering feedback on each other's food chains.
In Gym, we practiced passing the soccer ball using the inside of our foot because you could damage your toe, and also if you kick it with your toe you might not reach your target - Jordan
Today during Math, we worked more on the car decimal questions. We added 3 more cars, and we added our own decimal numbers that followed the given rules. Like how car G had to be bigger than H but less than C an how car H ha to be almost as fast as car B. I like these questions and I think there very fun. -Em
MRS. BARNDEN TALK ABOUT WORD STUDY!!!!!!!!!-Emily
Do not forget!
As per Emily's request - Word Study!!!!
Today students worked on 5W sentences to help build their skills when writing a complete sentence. They started with a subject or a who and then moved on to the what, where, when and why! Of course, this was a chance for them to showcase their wonderful senses of humour and they created some very interesting sentences! This could be a great game for the car!
Here are some great photos from today!
Students presenting their expert stations! I was really proud of Rananjay for putting himself out there and presenting!
His great joke at the end of his presentation:
AM had taken feedback from his peers, revised his presentation and then re-presented! It was awesome!
YES MYA! She did an amazing presentation on Border Collies - many students commented on how they learned something new and everyone was impressed with her presenter voice.
Clark wowing us with his picture and graphics for his Axolotl presentation. Definitely very visually engaging.
Leo sharing some fun facts about the gigantosaurus! Very interesting! We loved how he put the information into his own words.
